Biodental Remin will work with Group Pharmaceuticals of Bangalore, India, to incorporate its Enamelguard remineralization agent into Group Pharmaceutical's oral care products.
Group Pharmaceuticals intends to use the tasteless, water-soluble Enamelguard in the manufacture and sale of professional dental and consumer-level oral hygiene products for remineralizing teeth, according to Biodental. The company will also help facilitate clinical studies and research.
Biodental intends to develop its own line of dental professional and oral healthcare products incorporating Enamelguard and will have exclusive access to Group Pharma's low-cost production centers.
Group Pharma is a medium-sized Indian pharmaceutical company that specializes in the manufacture and distribution of oral care products. It currently has more than 250 sales representatives directly meeting more than 60,000 dentists each month, and its oral hygiene products are sold through some 85,000 retail outlets, the companies said.
