The graduating class for Tallahassee Community College's 2010 dental hygiene program has achieved a 100% pass rate on the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination, according to the college.
This is the 13th time in the past 17 years that the college's graduates have hit the 100% pass rate, stated Michele Edwards, C.D.A., R.D.H., chair of the dental hygiene program, in a press release.
"This was the first time the exam was computer-based, so to achieve a 100% pass rate is very exciting," Edwards said.
The class average was 85.1%, which is higher than the national average of 81.8%, the college noted.
