Henry Schein has signed an agreement to gain a 50% interest in Ortho Computer Systems, also known as Ortho2.
Ortho2 creates practice management software systems for orthodontists, including Edge Cloud and ViewPoint. Approximately 1,7000 orthodontists use Ortho2's software, according to the company.
The transaction is subject to closing conditions, and financial terms were not disclosed.
