OrthoAccel Technologies has named orthodontic industry veteran Frank Grunau as its new regional director for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA).
Grunau will serve on the executive leadership for AcceleDent, OrthoAccel's medical device that speeds up orthodontic treatment and has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
Grunau will also lead an aggressive European Union (EU) growth strategy for the device. The EU is an important part of company's continued growth strategy for AcceleDent as it represents the second largest orthodontic market in the world, according to OrthoAccel.
Grunau has 26 years of medical device and technology sales experience. He most recently served as the vice president of sales and marketing for Align Technology.
