GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) plans to spin off its consumer healthcare division into a separate company, according to a report posted July 15 on Forbes.com.
The division targets oral health, pain relief, cold, flu and allergy, digestive health and vitamins, minerals and supplements, the report said. As a separate firm, it will focus on products that serve these health categories.
The deal is expected to be completed by mid-2022, the company said.
