Essential Dental Systems (EDS) has launched Irritrol, a single-step disinfecting endodontic irrigation solution.
The product is gentle on dentin, disinfects, and removes the smear layer less aggressively than conventional irrigants, according to the company.
Irritrol's green color allows for easy identification during irrigation and has a disinfection rate of 99.99% in independent tests, the company noted.
