SensAble Technologies has announced that Babichenko Dental Laboratory of Meridian, ID, has joined the SensAble Authorized Production Center (SAPC) Program.
SAPCs create fixed and removable dental restorations for their own dentists using the SensAble Dental Lab System and are certified to provide design and/or fabrication services to other dental labs, the company explained in a press release. Because not every lab is ready for a full scan/design/fabricate system, SensAble Authorized Production Centersmake it easier for dental labs of all sizes to take incremental steps toward digital technologies, the company said.
Labs can deploy only the Scan/Design configuration of the SensAble Dental Lab System and then send the files electronically to Babichenko for printing a resin pattern, which can be returned to the lab for casting. Alternately, Babichenko can provide a finished chrome framework or coping to the lab.
“We’re committed to providing quality and choice to our dentists and the dental lab community as a whole, and that’s exactly what becoming a SensAble Authorized Production Center allows us to do,” said Henry Babichenko, owner of Babichenko Dental Lab. “With SensAble’s system we are designing restorations at least 70% faster and delivering parts that fit so precisely that our dentists need little or no time at all to fit them on a patient.”
