Smart communications platform Ooma has partnered with NexHealth to help dental practices make patient phone calls more personal.
Dental team members can use the NexHealth Synchronizer to sync patient information from practice management systems with the Ooma Office business phone service, which allows staff to view patient details in real time when taking or making phone calls.
The companies' combined product includes a patient caller-ID tool that allows office teams to answer phone calls and see patient data, including the date of the previous visit, the date of the next scheduled visit, and the names of family members. Other features include voicemail transcription and hot-desking.
