The Oklahoma Dental Association (ODA) rewards program has endorsed electronic prescription software program iCoreRx from iCoreConnect.
iCoreRx provides dentists with cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant access to state prescription drug monitoring programs. Prescriptions can be sent or received from practice management systems in any location, the company noted.
The partnership with ODA was motivated by a new Oklahoma law requiring dentists in the state to send prescriptions electronically for opioids and other Schedule II-V controlled substances. The ODA rewards program committee recommended iCoreRx after vetting the software using a standard set of criteria.
iCoreConnect's software solutions, including iCoreRx, have been endorsed by dozens of dental associations, including the Colorado Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Florida Dental Association.
