Quantum Dental Technologies has released its Canary Bridge software application that now allows dentists to access the Canary System directly from their dental practice management software.
The Canary Bridge enables the caries-analyzing program to run with existing practice management software, including Dentrix, Eaglesoft, ABELDent, Tracker, and Ace Dental.
"With our recent software innovations, dentists can install Canary software on their operatory computers and workstations and view images and data on monitors," said Josh Silvertown, PhD, chief operating officer of Quantum Dental Technologies.
To install the software, dentists can contact the company's sales team, who can determine the correct compatibility and help with downloading the software onto computers.
The Canary System is a caries detection tool that can also store data and tooth surface images for long-term, analytic use. The system allows oral healthcare professions to detect, tract, and monitor tooth decay on all tooth surfaces, beneath opaque sealants, and around the margins of restorations, as well as detect cracks in teeth, according to Quantum.
