Vivos Therapeutics' Care oral medical devices for the treatment of obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) in adults have been approved for coverage and reimbursement from the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Effective immediately, the device should be billed under code K1027 as an oral device appliance used to reduce upper airway collapsibility without a fixed mechanical hinge.
