Airway Management announced that Medicare can be billed for flexTap, its oral device that treats sleep apnea, using the E0486 Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System code.
This code enables coverage with most medical insurers and expands patient access to the customized device, which is equipped with a self-adjuster and contains no metal parts. Additionally, flexTap, which includes a standard nasal breathing component, comes with a standard three-year warranty.
