The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) recently endorsed Yes on Question 2 in Massachusetts, a ballot initiative on the November 2022 ballot that seeks to reform dental insurance medical loss ratios.
The AAE said by voting "yes," the initiative, if passed, can help ensure the Massachusetts Division of Insurance sets a fair medical loss ratio for dental plans. It would also require insurance companies to refund any excess dollars to their customers. The association added that a "yes" vote will also require dental carriers to disclose other financial information each year.
