The U.S. Senate has passed a $3.5 trillion budget plan that adds dental coverage to Medicare, according to an August 11 National Public Radio (NPR) report.

The plan passed on a vote of 50-49, and taxes on the wealthy and corporations would pay for much of it, NPR said. The plan adds dental, hearing, and vision benefits to Medicare.
