The Canadian Dental Association has certified MacPractice DDS for electronic insurance submissions via iTrans, the company announced in a press release.
"MacPractice DDS and MacPractice EClaims have been certified at the highest level of functionality for electronic dental insurance submission in Canada," said Mark Hollis, president of MacPractice, in the release. "We are very excited to provide a complete solution to Canadian dentists that includes basic practice management and now electronic insurance submission, along with dental charting, both restorative and periodontal, and Mac native digital radiography solutions."
Developing for iTrans certification has prepared MacPractice for the future of electronic insurance submission in the U.S. and for e-claims in other countries, he added.
