The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) and the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2014 ADAA/DANB Scholarship. The scholarship program helps dental assistants realize their professional development plans.
The scholarship is open to all ADAA members in good standing. To be considered, applicants should download and complete the application and submit a letter of intent, along with any required documentation.
The scholarship will be awarded to dental assistants who demonstrate a strong commitment to career growth and lifelong learning. The winner(s) will be able to use the scholarship funds for professional activities, such as continuing dental education, DANB exams or certification, some expenses associated with ADAA Fellowship or Mastership, or registration for a dental conference, among other possible activities.
Applications will be accepted through July 15, 2014, and the winner(s) will be announced at the 2014 ADAA Annual Session in San Antonio in October.
