Debra Ellis, a dental assistant from Murray County, GA, has won $500,000 in an instant game called Cash Deluxe from the Georgia Lottery, according to a press release.
The 52-year-old woman bought her ticket at a convenience store in Chatsworth. The lottery gave her an oversized novelty check at an award ceremony.
Ellis said she will pay off her bills and make home repairs with the winnings.
