The American Dental Assistants Association (ADAA) is now offering a new membership category, E-membership, and launched a campaign to open up its free E-membership to dental assistants all over the world, according to the ADAA Web site.
The ADAA kicked off its campaign last month at the Chicago Dental Society Midwinter Meeting and plans to continue its recruiting efforts at the upcoming Hinman Dental Meeting in Atlanta, March 25-27.
Interested dental assistants who stop by the ADAA booth (#815) at Hinman and sign up for a free E-membership will receive a free gift. Gifts for active ADAA members will be available at the booth as well, according to the association.
E-Members of the ADAA will have access to the following:
- Discounts on continuing education
- Discounts at the ADAA E-store (opening soon)
- A special online edition of the Dental Assistant Journal (coming soon)
- The opportunity to apply for an ADAA credit card
- Discounts for car rentals and hotels
- The online newsletters 24/7 and Business Beat
- Discounted personal service programs for medical services, prescription drugs, and identity theft protection
- Dentalworkers.com, the ADAA's online employment service partner
