Careington International has launched a teledentistry program that offers its dental network members phone or video consultations with licensed dentists.
The program operates 24/7 through Careington affiliate DialCare. It combines DialCare's telemedicine platform with Careington's 40 years of dental benefits experience, the company noted.
Through the platform, licensed dentists can virtually assess oral conditions, advise members on oral health and orthodontic needs, and provide a second opinion. Careington can also provide claims processing and other administrative services.
The DialCare teledentistry program is available to organizations and individual consumers. It is also included in plan offerings on Careington.com, although availability may vary by state.
