Sikka Software has updated its Practice Mobilizer app with additional functionality.

In addition, practices can now send HIPAA-compliant videos, pictures, and text messages to patients; check practice and clinical data; compare their performance to other practices in the U.S.; and run marketing campaigns.
The Practice Mobilizer app is available for free for Apple and Android smartphones. The app connects to most practice management systems and is compliant with HIPAA and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act, according to Sikka.
