Most patients are demanding that dental practices take better infection control measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, according to a recent DentaVox survey.
Of the more than 3,400 respondents, 95% reported that they are demanding better hygiene practices, such as more handwashing by staff and deep cleaning, at dental offices. About half of respondents reported that the most important measure to take is to disinfect dental equipment thoroughly. That was followed by the disinfection of often-touched surfaces, according to the survey.
