The Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) has opened registration for its 2016 Boot Camp: Infection Control Basic Training.
The course will feature experts in infection prevention and safety, and it will cover core infection-prevention fundamentals for dental practitioners. Attendees can receive up to 24 continuing education credits. Topics include the following:
- Disease transmission
- Principles of infection prevention and control and quality assurance
- Infection-control laws, regulations, guidelines, and best practices
The boot camp will be held from January 11-13, 2016, in Atlanta. For those who register before September 30, early-bird registration is $375 for OSAP members and $550 for nonmembers. For more information or to register, please visit the boot camp page on OSAP's website.
