The Organization for Safety and Asepsis Procedures (OSAP) is taking a unique approach to supporting infection control professionals who want to attend the 2010 OSAP Symposium by providing a tool kit to help potential attendees justify the expense to their organizations.
The Justification Toolkit includes a sample letter to the supervisor, help calculating the return on investment of attending the symposium, room and ride share options, and more.
"The current economy is forcing facilities to carefully manage budgets," OSAP said in a press release. "Meeting attendance is especially scrutinized to ensure the investment of time and money is worth the price."
The symposium is designed to give educators, consultants, program directors, and all who are responsible for infection prevention in their facilities a cost-effective way to stay on top of emerging diseases, new technologies and procedures, and proven strategies for compliance, according to OSAP.
The OSAP 2010 Symposium will be held June 10-13, 2010, in Tampa, FL.
