Laser and CAD/CAM scanner company Biolase reported increased net revenue for its fiscal first quarter of 2019.
For the quarter (end-March 31), net revenue was $10.3 million, an increase of 3% compared with the same period of 2018. The increase was attributed to increased laser and consumables revenue in the U.S., according to the company.
Biolase reported a net loss of $4.4 million, down from $5.2 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
The company is also involved in the dental imaging equipment market, including digital radiography systems and CAD/CAM scanners.
