Laser and CAD/CAM scanner company Biolase reported a decrease in net revenue for the fiscal first quarter of 2018.
For the quarter (end-March 31), net revenue was $10.0 million, a decrease of 8% compared with the same period of 2017. The revenue decrease was attributed to a decline in U.S. laser and international imaging systems sales.
Biolase reported a net loss of $5.0 million, compared with a net loss of $4.1 million in the same quarter of the previous year. The company attributed the increase in net loss to a reduction in gross profit.
