Biolase Technology expects to report net revenues of $12 million for the second quarter of 2011 (end-June 30), a 104% increase over revenues of $5.9 million in the second quarter of 2010, the company announced.
Approximately $2 million of orders received in the second quarter were unable to be shipped by June 30, due to the timing of a change order placed by Henry Schein, Biolase noted.
Biolase CFO Fred Furry said supply chain issues that developed due to the financial condition of the company in 2010 are still affecting Biolase.
