Flosstime, a smart floss dispenser, has tripled its Kickstarter campaign goal of $15,000 in just one month.
The device sticks onto a bathroom mirror or wall and reminds users to floss daily with a colored LED light. When pressed, Flosstime automatically dispenses 18 inches of floss and begins a 90-second timer to indicate how long the user should floss for.
Flosstime is currently in the middle of a Kickstarter campaign and has raised more than $45,000 so far. Campaign fundraising will continue through December 12.
"We're thrilled we've surpassed our goal by 300%, proving we have many people who support our efforts to encourage daily flossing habits," stated Duc Duong, co-founder and chief operating officer of Flosstime, in a press release. "Flosstime makes it easier to incorporate flossing into your daily routine and to improve oral health."
