Acteon North America has added a new feature to its website designed to educate new, current, and potential owners on all aspects of Satelec piezoelectric P5 Newtron ultrasonic dental devices for periodontics and scaling.
The Talking Tips With Colleen section of the Acteon website includes eight different videos featuring Colleen Rutledge, RDH, a nationally recognized dental hygienist and consultant. In each of the videos, Rutledge discusses everything from why she uses the P5 Newtron range of piezoelectric ultrasonic "scalers" to detailed explanations of 18 different ultrasonic tips and how she uses each one most effectively for everything from gross calculus removal to implant maintenance to tongue disinfection.
Rutledge also tackles some frequently asked questions and misconceptions about piezoelectric scalers, such as having to learn a new technique, and shares her own personal experiences with other scaling technology as well, the company explained.
