Hu-Friedy and the American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) have partnered to honor the 2010 graduating student members of the ADHA. Each graduate received a cobranded Hu-Friedy EverEdge Technology Nevi 3 posterior sickle scaler featuring the ADHA logo as a gift from both organizations.
More than 6,800 scalers were sent to the graduates as they begin their professional careers.
"ADHA knows the time and energy put forth by all of these graduates and are honored to partner with Hu-Friedy to congratulate them on their accomplishment," said Lynn Ramer, L.D.H., ADHA president. "We hope that this gift helps to start these hygienists on the path of what will surely be a long and rewarding career."
In related news, Hu-Friedy has expanded its Environdent instrument recycling program. Previously, the program provided clinicians with the opportunity to earn free products by recycling used instruments and purchasing new instruments. In honor of the program's 15th anniversary, the company has eliminated the need for dental offices to purchase instruments in order to benefit from Environdent. Dental professionals can simply recycle 12 used instruments from any manufacturer and receive a free Hu-Friedy instrument of their choice.
