After my dentist appointment yesterday, I was talking with my dentist and her hygienist husband about canceled appointments in their practice. To their credit, they have very few broken appointments because the practice is devoted to patient education and using text and email reminders. They noted that this takes effort from everyone in a practice but they consider it time well-spent.
