The American Dental Hygienists' Association (ADHA) announced that two additional state associations have signed charter agreements with the organization at its recent annual conference in Jacksonville, FL. This brings the total number of chartered constituents to 49.
The two new state organizations are the Florida Dental Hygienists' Association and the Minnesota Dental Hygienists' Association.
According to the AHDA, charter agreements are a key piece of its new strategic plan.
In 2016, the California Dental Hygienists' Association ended its 90-year affiliation with the ADHA in part due to the proposed charter agreement.
