Delta Dental of Kansas donated $653,536 during its 2015 community dental health grant cycle, the organization announced.
Delta Dental of Kansas grants are awarded to initiatives and events that promote the prevention of dental disease, have a significant impact, or are sustainable and innovative solutions to oral health issues in Kansas. In 2015, the grants supported 20 Kansas-based organizations, including the following:
- Colleges, such as Flint Hills Technical College Foundation and Manhattan Area Technical College
- Clinics, such as the Health Partnership Clinic of Johnson County, the Douglas Country Dental Clinic, and the Turner House Children's Clinic
- Religious organizations, such as United Methodist Open Door and Community Health Ministry
- Children's organizations, such as Wichita Children's Theatre and Junior Achievement
