The Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation has awarded a two-year $300,000 grant to National Children's Oral Health Foundation (NCOHF): America's ToothFairy to support oral health services and education for at-risk children through the NCOHF Minnesota Oral Health Zone (OHZ) Program.
The program, one of five OHZs operated by America's ToothFairy across the U.S., was established in 2014 with funding from the Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation and guidance from the Minnesota Oral Health Zone Advisory Group.
Combining America's ToothFairy resources and programs with local knowledge, expertise, and people power, the Minnesota OHZ aims to break the cycle of severe caries, expand access to care and education for vulnerable children, and enhance awareness of oral disease as a significant children's health issue.
