The private equity firm behind dental support organization (DSO) ClearChoice Holdings has announced an agreement to sell the DSO to an affiliate of private equity firm Sun Capital Partners.
The firm L Catterton invested in ClearChoice Holdings in 2011. The DSO provides administrative and nonclinical services to ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers.
Sun Capital has investments in restaurants, such as Friendly's, Boston Market, and Johnny Rockets, and clothing companies, such as Rebecca Taylor and Scotch and Soda.
No transaction price or corporate management changes was disclosed. ClearChoice has 39 centers in 22 states.
