AMD Lasers has received marketing clearance from Health Canada to sell its Picasso line of soft-tissue dental lasers and accessories in Canada, the company announced.
AMD will partner with Oral Science, which will exclusively distribute the Picasso line throughout Canada.
The company has met all the quality system requirements established by Health Canada for selling medical devices. The Picasso lasers are intended for use during soft-tissue surgery, periodontal and endodontic procedures, and laser teeth whitening.
