Dentsply Sirona has updated its Symbios allograft product line, aiming to improve sterility and versatility.
The line includes new granule bone grafts, putty bone grafts, and the Acellular Dermal Matrix (Symbios PerioDerm). The enhanced products are designed for various dental surgeries and implants to support bone formation, volume, and stability, Dentsply Sirona said.
The new allografts come in different granule sizes and combinations, adhering to strict safety and sterility standards. Additionally, Dentsply Sirona collaborated with RegenX for the granule products and with MTF Biologics for the dermis and putty products. The new granules use the Excellion process for better performance, while DBX Putty and PerioDerm Acellular Dermis are designed for ease of use and improved results, according to Dentsply Sirona.
