Dental solutions manufacturer Ivoclar has launched VivaDent Aerosol Reduction Gel for professional tooth cleaning.
This clear, water-based gel is designed to reduce spray mist and aerosol from ultrasonic scalers, improving visibility, reducing disease spread, and providing a more comfortable experience for patients.
The gel is mixed with water, left to rest for 10 minutes, then placed in a coolant tank to begin the cleaning. After the gel is used, the device must be rinsed with water. The gel is only suitable for ultrasonic scalers with external coolant tanks and not air-polishing devices.
