EMS Dental has installed seven of its Airflow Prophylaxis Master devices at Coastal Carolina Community College in Onslow County, NC.
Airflow is part of the company's Guided Biofilm Therapy protocol, which supports dental hygiene, the company said. It uses EMS Dental's erythritol Airflow Plus powder and its Airflow Max handpiece to remove biofilm in the sulcus, in shallow gum pockets up to 4 mm, on the tongue, and on the palate, according to the firm.
