Vatech America has launched its new PaX-i Insight 2D digital panoramic imaging system.
The PaX-i Insight. Image courtesy of Vatech America.The PaX-i Insight system is capable of taking multilayered images with a 1.9-second acquisition time. Practitioners are able to view images in 41 multilayers, sliced in 1-mm increments, when looking at regions of interest in a patient's mouth.
The system also features cephalometry technology and includes EzDent-i software for treatment planning and patient consultation.
The PaX-i Insight is first being launched in the U.S. and will be introduced throughout the year to other global markets, including Germany, Italy, and France, according to the company.
