Old World Labs has introduced the Dentalith 3D printer for dental offices and labs.
The multimaterial resin composite/ceramic solid printer makes ceramic crowns and bridges, acrylic-based surgical guides, corrective alignments, and night guards, according to the company. It can produce up to 50 units in a three-hour cycle.
The company is marketing the printer to both small dental practices and commercial labs, and mass market availability is expected for the second quarter of 2017.
