Delta Dental has launched the Care Cost Estimator tool, which allows consumers to compare prices for dental care.
The online tool shows how much Delta Dental network dentists charge for 60 common dental procedures, including cleanings, x-rays, crowns, and root canals. Consumers are also able to search by ZIP code and dentist name.
The tool currently shows the total cost of a procedure, but will updated in the future to show Delta Dental subscribers what their out-of-pocket cost would be.
