Carestream Dental has launched a new app for the iPad, CS Digitalizer, that provides a step-by-step guide to building a customized digital practice.
The app addresses the main concerns of adding digital dental equipment, including investment, ease of use, and cost.
"In a recent Carestream Dental survey, we found that there was a drastic difference between a nondigital user's perception of digital technology versus the digital user's actual experience," stated Ed Shellard, DMD, chief commercial officer at Carestream Dental, in a press release. "The CS Digitalizer addresses the concerns of the nondigital doctor and demonstrates just how easy it is to 'go digital.' "
Dentists can take a survey through the app to determine their practice's needs and learn how to upgrade. Then, it provides a step-by-step guide for adopting that technology and other features, such as an industry comparison, a user guide, and a return-on-investment calculator.
CS Digitalizer's iPad app is available to download from the App Store. It can also be accessed on the Carestream website.
