The University of Birmingham Enterprise in the U.K. has launched the Birmingham Dental and Biomaterials Testing Service.
The service provides consultancy and materials testing services for dental and biomaterial manufacturers.
The testing team has access to laboratory space and equipment at the university and will provide a range of testing that closely replicates biomaterial use in clinical situations, as well as material characterization, radiometry, thermography, assessment of endodontic sealer properties, microbiology, cell biology, and clinical assessment of instruments and materials.
