Artificial intelligence (AI) technology developer Pearl has received clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for its AI dental x-ray detection software Second Opinion.
Second Opinion helps dentists identify common dental conditions, including tooth decay and root abscesses on dental x-rays. The software is currently available in the U.S., and it is already being used in dental practices in Europe, Canada, Australia, South America, and the Middle East.
