Canadian digital imaging developer Teledyne DALSA will unveil new complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) flat-panel x-ray detectors at the upcoming Radiological Society of North America annual meeting (RSNA 2014) in Chicago.
The new Xineos models feature fields-of-view of 20 x 22 cm, 22 x 22 cm, and 30 x 30 cm, according to the firm. The new detectors, including the 2222HS, 3030HS, 2022HR, and 3030HR, utilize Teledyne DALSA's sixth-generation CMOS active-pixel design.
Targeted at surgical and cardiovascular procedures, the high-speed Xineos-HS detectors also offer 152-µm pixel size, high dynamic range with enhanced signal-to-noise performance, and real-time imaging at the lowest exposure levels in full resolution up to 90 frames per second, Teledyne DALSA said.
