Mydent International has introduced Defend digital x-ray sensor sleeves, disposable plastic sleeves designed to protect valuable digital imaging equipment and help prevent cross-contamination.
Defend digital x-ray sensor sleeves offer leak-proof construction and are made from soft, tear-resistant plastic for maximum patient comfort and infection control, according to the company. Sleeves are available to fit all popular digital x-ray systems.
The sleeves are packaged 550 to a box and are available from most dental dealers, the company said.
