Shining 3D is upgrading its dental 3D scanner series with the launch of a new model called Aoralscan 3.
An intraoral scanner, Aoralscan 3 improves the overall clinical experience by allowing users to acquire digital impressions in a faster and more accurate way, the company said.
The scanner is equipped with artificial intelligence software that allows it to automatically identify and filter out miscellaneous data during scanning, as well as a motion sensing control function. In addition, scan speeds and accuracy have both increased by up to 30%, Shining 3D reported.
Lastly, the new scanner features a longer autoclavable scan tip and a greater scan depth, the company said.
