Oral care solution provider Clon3D has launched its new Wow intraoral scanner in North America.
The intraoral scanner is software based and makes digital collaboration between dentists and labs easier and affordable. It is smaller, more user friendly, and can be used for orthodontics, oral surgery, and prosthetics, according to Clon3D.
It captures 2D and 3D, detailed, real color images and can import to any open CAD system. Its compact design offers fluid handling, making it comparable to the grip of a pen, according to the company.
Since the scanner is software based, it can be updated at no charge and without replacing any hardware. The cost of the scanner and MSI GS65 computer is $18,500 plus tax.
