Carestream Dental has launched its new CS 3700 intraoral scanner at the 2019 ADA FDI World Dental Congress in San Francisco.
The new scanner features smart-shade matching that detects the enamel color of the scan area to identify the ideal match, high-speed scanning and processing, and touchscreen capabilities. It also includes CS ScanFlow, software that allows users to select any workflow from a single screen, and ergonomic features, the company said.
The scanner provides scanning speeds 20% faster than Carestream Dental's previous intraoral scanners, according to the firm.
