Carestream Dental has partnered with CAD/CAM software provider Exocad to enable its CS 3600 intraoral scanner to digitally interact with Exocad's ChairsideCAD software.
The new integration allows practitioners who are using the CS 3600 scanner to capture digital impressions for restorations directly from the ChairsideCAD software. The interaction streamlines the dataset collection process and allows the practitioner to work within the Exocad environment, eliminating the need to transfer the dataset, according to Carestream Dental.
